چکیده

Biological agents are critical in the management of major diseases oil palm plantations. The potential arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi (AMF) and Trichoderma spp. to control basal stem rot disease was investigated this study. Three-month-old seedlings treated with AMF since beginning planting demonstrated colonization roots. With a 25 gram treatment main nursery, increased by 85.99% TBM-1 (the 1-year immature plant). In TBM-2, 86.00-97.33% (2-year All treatments started 30 grams applied at start pre-nursery planting. Root number spores root rhizosphere TBM-2 had strong relationship inoculation significant impact on spore response. According study, application as well repeated additions planting, were found be effective controlling attacks through early prevention strategies.

Plant coexistence mediated by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi

Recent research has indicated the importance of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in mediating plant coexistence. Coarse-scale studies compare the effects of the presence versus absence of AMF on plant coexistence, a phenomenon that is most relevant in early successional ecosystems where AMF are patchily distributed. By contrast, fine-scale studies investigate interactions that might occur onc...

Biodiversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in agroecosystems

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi [AMF] are soil fungi which form a mutualistic symbiosis with the roots of plants. A variety of benefits to the host have been ascribed to mycorrhizae, most often enhanced uptake of immobile nutrients from the soil, notably P. An understanding of the impacts of agronomic practices upon communities of these fungi would help to ensure an opportunity for the utilization...

Meiotic genes in the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi

The arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are important symbionts of land plants, which are known for their tremendous positive effects on terrestrial ecosystems, their peculiar cellular features, and their very old evolutionary history. To date, no sexual stage or apparatus have ever been observed in these organisms; a remarkable absence for a eukaryotic lineage. For this reason, AMF have long be...

Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and Alien Plant Species

The invasion success of alien plant species depends, amongst other things, on their functional traits [4] and the susceptibility of ecosystems. There is now increasing interest in including biotic interactions particularly mutualistic associations [5], into frameworks assessing alien plant invasions, as they help bridge the invisibility and invasiveness features. The great majority of terrestri...
